Kashmir,
made around you.

Private, boutique trips and celebrations for couples, families, friends and teams. No fixed itineraries. We plan the trip you would choose if you knew the valley the way we do.

  • Private, never pooled
  • Planned by people from Kashmir
  • One host on WhatsApp, start to finish

Most Kashmir trips are planned for a coach. Yours will be planned for you.

The trip most people are sold

  1. Day 1Srinagar: four Mughal gardens and a shikara ride before dinner
  2. Day 2Gulmarg: gondola, photographs, back in the car by six
  3. Day 3Pahalgam: three valleys in one day
  4. Day 4Sonamarg: a seven o'clock start to beat the traffic
  5. Day 5A shopping stop, then the airport

The same five days for everyone. Nobody asked who was coming.

Same valley. Never the same day.

One day in Kashmir, lived five different ways. None of them came out of a brochure.

  1. Sunrise reflected in still water on Dal Lake

    5:50 am, Dal Lake

    For the two of you

The lake is still and the mist hasn't lifted. A shikara is waiting below the deck of a houseboat that is yours alone for three nights, with kahwa in a flask and a blanket on the seat. By the time the flower sellers paddle past, breakfast is laid out on the deck.

We'd arrange a private houseboat, a dawn shikara and dinner in a Mughal garden.

    Plan a trip for two
  2. Meadows and pine forest in Betaab Valley

9:30 am, the road to Pahalgam

    For the whole family

Nobody is rushed out of breakfast. The drive south takes as long as it needs: saffron fields at Pampore, a cricket-bat workshop near Bijbehara, apples bought at the roadside. By the afternoon the children are on ponies in Betaab and the grandparents have the best seat by the river.

We'd arrange short drives with good stops, rooms close together and afternoons left free.

    Plan a family trip
  3. Tarsar Lake beneath a long ridge

    1:00 pm, Tarsar Lake

    For friends

Two days' walk from the road, lunch is bread, cheese and apricots on the grass by the water. The tents went up before you arrived. Tonight there's a fire, a cook who makes rogan josh at 3,800 metres, and more stars than anyone can name.

We'd arrange guides, cooks, ponies and camps, sized to your group.

    Plan a trip with friends
  4. Rafts on the Lidder river near Pahalgam

    4:00 pm, the Lidder

    For your team

The strategy session ended at lunch. Now it's twelve of you in two rafts on the Lidder, and the quietest person in the company is steering. Dinner is on the lawn by the river. Nobody checks their phone.

We'd arrange a base with real meeting space, team days on the river and the trail, and every transfer.

    Plan a company trip
  5. Sunset over Nishat Bagh, a Mughal garden on Dal Lake

7:30 pm, a garden on Dal Lake

    For a celebration

Lanterns along the water, a long table under the chinars, musicians from Srinagar tuning up. Your parents think they have come for dinner. In an hour, forty people will stand up for their fortieth anniversary.

We'd arrange the venue, décor, food, music, photography and every guest's travel.

    Plan a celebration

Five groups. Five different Kashmirs. Not one itinerary.

Now tell us about yours.

Tap what fits. We'll sketch where we'd start, and you can send it straight to us.

Kashmir for two, in autumn

Moments we'd plan

    Send my sketch on WhatsApp

Sending it costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A person reads it and replies.

    When to come

Kashmir changes completely from month to month. Tap a month to see what it's like.

    October

    Autumn turns

The chinars start to turn and, late in the month, saffron flowers at Pampore.

    Plan a trip in October

Celebrations, set up for you in Kashmir.

On a houseboat deck, in a Mughal garden, in a meadow above Pahalgam. Venue, décor, food, music, photography and your guests' travel, planned as one.

    Where you'll sleep

    • A heritage houseboatCarved walnut rooms on Dal or Nigeen, and the water to yourselves at dawn.
    • A cottage on the LidderPine forest outside Pahalgam and the river all night.
    • A home in old SrinagarPapier-mâché ceilings, a family kitchen, the bazaars a walk away.
    • A lodge in GulmargSnow to the door in winter, meadow in summer.
    • A camp in the high meadowsTents, cooks and a fire, set up before you arrive.

    Places most tours skip

    • GurezWooden villages along the Kishanganga, far up in the north.
    • DoodhpathriOpen meadows and cold streams, a short drive from Srinagar.
    • YusmargPine and meadow that stay quiet even in high season.
    • BangusWide grassland in the north-west, with almost no one there.
    • WarwanA remote valley for serious walkers.

    How it works

    1. Tell us who's coming

A WhatsApp message is enough: who, roughly when, and anything you're celebrating.

    2. We sketch your trip

Stays, experiences and pace chosen for your group, with a clear price.

    3. Shape it together

Change anything until it's right. Then we make every booking.

    4. We host you

A private car and driver, and one person to call from arrival to departure.

    Tell us who's coming.

We'll reply with ideas, not a package.
